WHO CAN SIGN UP: Whilst we don’t like to play favourites, we do have to prioritize certain roles at the show. Yachts, crews and brokers are key to the event. Then we do our best to accommodate everyone else.
BOATS AND CREWS IN THE BVI: The Charter Yacht Society show is open to ALL term charter crewed yachts regardless of home base. You do not need to be a CYS member to attend, although members do enjoy year-round benefits as well as a heavily discounted show. Read more about member benefits here. Refer to YACHT FEES & REGISTRATION in accordion below for specifics on pricing.
CLEARINGHOUSE and YACHT MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVES: Management companies will be limited to eight yacht entries until July 1. This measure is intended to ensure fair access to space for independent yachts that do not have dedicated representation. After July 1, any additional entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Representatives of either Clearinghouse or Management company who plan to visit the show and engage with brokers and crews MUST register and pay in advance.
VENUE: We will feature yachts at two marinas: Nanny Cay Marina and Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour Marina. Registration will offer the choice however, once capacity has been reached at Nanny Cay you will be informed your yacht has been waitlisted. You may opt for a slip assignment at Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour (provided there is space) or remain waitlisted until space opens at Nanny Cay. DO NOT PANIC! We move cautiously as we approach maximum capacity, so we do not over commit. NOTE: We had great success using Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour last year. A shuttle will be provided throughout the day to transport brokers
BROKERS: Once again our show will be hosted at 2 marinas, Nanny Cay Marina and Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour Marina. A shuttle will be provided throughout the day to transport brokers back and forth. Yachts on view at Nanny Cay will finish at noon on the 13th. Virgin Gorda Yachts will be open for viewing until 4 pm on the 13th. Refer to BROKER REGISTRATION notes below to see discounts on water taxi transportation and accommodation (including Nanny Cay and Sebastian’s on the Beach)
VENDORS: Our marine expo or marketplace affords captains, chefs and brokers the once-a-year opportunity to meet, in person, representatives of local businesses which offer quality products and services that ensure guests have the experience of a lifetime. Our expo typically features 30+ businesses and takes place the evening of the first show day. This year's marketplace will be Tuesday November 10th. See VENDOR REGISTRATION below to find out how one can secure a spot.
As the Sailing Capital of the Caribbean our waters remain azure blue and an average temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The trade winds blow predictably and steadily year-round. In a world full of changes, we assure you these are constants in the BVI.
