You will be supplied with a bottle of Mount Gay Black Barrel Rum when registered to participate. Collect at the CYS Registration Desk

Theme: PORTSIDE POURS with Mount Gay Rum
The Challenge: Reinvent a traditional cocktail (eg. Rum Negroni, Rum Espresso Martini etc.) and serve with a sailor's flair.
Ingredients / guidelines
Max 3 liquors – one must be SPONSORED LIQUOR
Max 3 non-alcoholic liquids (ice excluded).
Must include 1 local product (mixer or garnish).
Must meet competition guidelines.
Schedule & Timing
Each bartender has an assigned time slot, judges will come to your vessel. To be confirmed 24 hours in advance of contest.
We will build a WhatsApp group for participants. Please monitor it in the event we have to notify you of any delays.
Each competitor will be allotted five minutes to produce two identical drinks of the same cocktail: one for photography purposes, the other one for tasting evaluation.
3 minutes → Competitor assembles cocktail.
2 minutes → Judges taste + feedback.
You will be judged on flavour, presentation, creativity and adherence to theme.
